If you are shopping for script analysis, there is plenty out there to chose from. Many brag that they have been writing coverage for 10, 15 sometimes 20 years, read thousands scripts or worked with top writers. Ok, I have done all of those things but more importantly, I have fought for scripts. I have stood in front my previous bosses, other producers and studio executives and pitched scripts. Sometimes they said yes, lots of times it’s a no (welcome to the business), but no one has ever told me that the script wasn’t good. It may not have been the right project for that studio or production company but the writing held up. So yes I know how to analyze scripts. I can help you with characters, structure, dialogue and themes. However, I believe the advantage of working with me is I look at the script as a “buyer”. So I don’t promise you “studio coverage”. I am not writing a synopsis of your script – you know what you wrote. However, what I will do is give you constructive, sharp insight on your material. I will provide you with one page of story notes and ½ hour phone consultation. I know other analyzers promise to get the script front of an agent or a producer, I’m not looking to set up more projects. If that were the case, then I would not read the scripts objectively. Instead, my tastes would skew my anaylsis. Instead, I will look at your material with one goal in mind – to make it a well-written script. Let’s be frank, good scripts don’t always sell but they are rarely ignored. Maybe your script just gets you a “meeting”. What I repeatedly tell my clients, “In this business on any given Sunday, your life can change”. That “meeting” may get you a writing assignment and that can change your life.

Just because it's a cliché doesn’t mean it isn’t true: you only get one chance to make a good impression.
